Mohini : The beauty of lord

• Infighting sometimes will not benefit anyone in the team

  When Dhanwanthri arrived with Amrutha ( Nectar of eternal life ) Asuras fought among themselves for it instead of sharing.What would have happened if they had a capable leader and aligned them to share ? but that is the characteristic of asura that lord is trying to enlighten us , in today's corporate world do appreciate our peers ? , do we not want to walk away with full team credit ? This asura characteristic of ours has brought in disharmony,fickle nature & backbiting in the workplace.

• Do not try to impress someone for pride or pleasure

Lord vishnu took the form of a beautiful woman mohini, The popular belief that mohini volunteered to share Amrutham is incorrect , she never volunteered , she was asked to be serve the amrutham because the asuras wanted to impress her.The desire to impress her overpowered the desire for amrutham, are we so weak to impress someone and loose the sole purpose of the task and how many times did we end up in the losing side, will the person really care . never lose the purpose of your life for pleasure.

Mohini asked to sit asuras in one side and gods on the other side  and shared the amrutham to gods while asuras were mesmerized by her beauty and trying to impress mohini never questioned her or asked her why she was not making suras and asuras sit together , the first observation and direct relation to today's society that came into my mind was the political situation, why do we not question when a leader proposes goodies or reservation for a particular cast ? are the set of people happy with whatever they are getting without realizing what the leader is taking away from them ? are we trying to impress him/her is it really worth it

Lord vishnu showed us the path to dharma in his mohini avatar(form) , the submissive attitude to impress a woman ( in this context only) lead to asuras downfall and the asuras in us are our thoughts

PS:
if you are under the impression that lord vishnu cheated asuras by sharing amrutham with gods, it was asuras self destructive choices that lead to it, Rahu understood what was going on and joined the queue of gods and the lord despite knowing that its rahu served him amrutham because he made the right choice, although he was never allowed fully to swallow it because the lord knew his nature.
